Tonight’s film—starting at 6pm Pacific/9 pm Eastern, as usual—is Everything You Always Wanted to Know About Sex (But Were Afraid to Ask), from 1972. Loosely based around a popular sex manual of the time, the anthology comedy is a fine if minor example of pre-Annie Hall Woody Allen.
The film is streamable on HBO Max, Amazon Prime, and Hulu for free, and other services for $3.99.
I would’ve done it yesterday as usual, but I needed to recover from acupuncture. (“Recover from acupuncture?” you might exclaim. “That sounds intense.” It is, ladies and gents and enbies, it is.)

Burt Reynolds and Tony Randal as the controllers of the brain is brilliant casting at its most inspired!
The highlight for me was the sheep sketch with Gene Wilder. It wouldn't work if it wasn't so tender, and overall this movie was much kinder to everyone than I was expecting.
It's been a long time since watching Sleeper but overall I think I liked this more. The Italian guy thing didn't work for me and neither did the jester.
